Hi Rockwell Irrigation and Landscaping Family! It’s Rachel here (Donny’s wife).

This is one of my favorite times of the year when flowers bloom and the grass springs up. It’s just beautiful and a great reminder that life goes on. It makes me glad that we can continue to maintain your lovely outdoor settings to enjoy around the safety of your home. Perhaps the best thing we can do right now is step outside and take breath of fresh air!

I thought I would share a quick note and some fun ideas for you and your family. I don’t need to go on and on about how different Easter will be this year. The only that doesn’t change for us as a family this Easter is that Jesus is still King and we will always celebrate that HE IS RISEN! Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this season of uncertainty. Hopefully you can find a way to celebrate even though things will be different this year. Here are some ideas for the young and young at heart…

5 Easter Ideas that you can do anytime at home.. even while social distancing!

First up is this fun Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt! We did this last year too and it was super fun. Check out how to have your own Black Light or Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt at Sprinkle Some Fun! This can be played outdoors or indoors which is nice since the Tulsa area will be chilly on Easter Sunday.

Make some super cute Easter snacks for the kids using plastic Easter Eggs. It’s like a little Easter themed Bento lunch idea! This would be fun to eat picnic style outside if the weather is nice.

We love the game “Mancala” and this DIY Jellybean Mancala a fun and tasty way to play the game using everyday items around the house!

If you have some glue dots lying around and maybe some glitter… you have everything you need to decorate these eggs! Glitter dot Easter Eggs are a favorite of ours and they are so easy. We like to tim the lawn a little higher the week of Easter for easier places to hide eggs!

When you’ve just had enough of the slime crafts… these Washi Tape crosses are a fun and easy craft idea without the mess! They would also be a super pretty decoration for the garden or in a flower arrangement.

This Easter will be different than the rest, but the truth of the cross and empty tomb remains the same. From our family to yours… Happy Easter!
