Meet the Team
Led by Donny Rockwell | Serving the Tulsa Area Since 2016
If you’ve lived in Tulsa for any length of time, you know how much our yards take a beating—hot summers, shifting soil, and sprinkler systems that were installed long before today’s technology.
I’m Donny Rockwell, and I’ve been working with landscapes since 1997. Since 2016, I’ve been serving homeowners right here in the Tulsa area, helping people make sense of sprinkler systems that feel confusing, outdated, or just plain frustrating.
This work isn’t about quick fixes for me. It’s about understanding the yard in front of me and taking care of it the right way.

Where It All Started
My grandfather was an avid gardener. Growing up, my family lived just down the road from my grandparents in the Tulsa area, and I spent countless hours outside with him in the yard.
I watched how he worked the soil, how closely he paid attention to what each plant needed, and how patient he was with the land. He taught me something I still carry with me: a healthy yard doesn’t happen by accident—it takes care, consistency, and attention.
Long before I ever worked on a sprinkler system, I learned to love gardening and being outdoors right there alongside him. That foundation shaped everything that came after, and it’s why I approach every yard the way I do—with the same patience and attention he showed me.
From Landscaping to Irrigation
I started working in landscaping back in 1997, getting my hands dirty with all kinds of properties and irrigation systems—brand new installs, aging systems, and plenty that had been modified, patched, or repaired over the years.
By 2016, I’d seen enough to know where I wanted to focus: helping homeowners across Tulsa and Broken Arrow get their irrigation systems working right again. Then in March 2020, I made it official and started Rockwell Irrigation & Landscaping.
Here’s what all those years taught me: most sprinkler systems don’t need to be torn out and replaced. They just need someone willing to slow down, pay attention, and understand how a yard and its irrigation system have changed over time.
That’s the approach I bring to every job.

Why Restoration, Not Replacement
A lot of companies take one look at an older sprinkler system and immediately recommend replacing it. I don’t work that way.
Most problems I see aren’t catastrophic failures—they’re small things that add up. Coverage that no longer matches the yard. Pressure that’s off. Zones that were never adjusted after the landscaping changed. When you address those issues thoughtfully, most systems can be restored to work really well.
I focus on irrigation restoration and sprinkler system repair because it saves you money and respects the landscape you’ve already invested in. And honestly, there’s something satisfying about bringing a system back to life instead of just ripping it out.

A note from Donny:
What Working With Me Looks Like
I hear the same frustrations from Tulsa homeowners all the time: contractors who rush through jobs, or push unnecessary replacements just to close a bigger sale.
I run my business differently:
- I’m straightforward about what you need. If something needs to be redesigned, I’ll walk you through why. If it’s a simple fix, I’ll tell you that too. No upselling, no runaround.
- I treat your yard like it matters. Because it does—to you, and to me. This is my community. These are my neighbors. I take that seriously.
More Than Just Sprinklers
Over the years, I’ve expanded into landscape restoration for yards that have been affected by construction, aging irrigation, or years of pieced-together fixes that never quite worked right.
Whether it’s rerouting sprinkler lines after a pool installation, cleaning up overgrown beds, or restoring proper coverage to a neglected lawn, the goal is always the same: a yard that works well and looks the way it should.
Let’s Figure Out What Your Yard Needs
Whether you’re dealing with a system that’s struggling or you just want someone to take an honest look and tell you what makes sense, I’d be glad to help.
I offer one-time evaluations and ongoing care through our maintenance plans—whatever fits your situation best.
